Quick! What were the names of the Three Wise Men? How long did it take for them to travel to Bethlehem? Where did they go after they left that little town?

jourmeys_with_the_magi_350webThese are just a few questions explored in my new book, “Journeys with the Magi: From Persia to Bethlehem…and Beyond.” It is published by Amor Deus Publishing in Phoenix. This is my third book, joining “Linking Your Beads” about the rosary and “Making Sense of Saints” about the church’s canonization process (both published by Our Sunday Visitor Press).

I didn’t want to just focus on Jan. 6, Epiphany, (the Twelfth Day of Christmas) when I looked into the lives of the three Kings. Instead, I wanted to see them as fellow pilgrims, finding our way to God. The book covers much of the church year, from the Feast of Christ the King into Lent. I wanted to take time and enjoy the journey with the Three Kings.

The book is available at amordeus.com, local book stores including Cathedral Book and Gift in Green Bay and St. Patrick Bookstore in Appleton and at amazon.com.
