Christmas dinners set in 3 areas
Manitowoc, Oshkosh and Wautoma planning meals

Ready for Christmas? Looking forward to Mass, followed by a big
meal celebrating the birth of our Savior?
Maybe you are. And maybe you don't have any family or friends
with whom to spend the holiday. Then food loses some of its
seasoning and the joy of the season is harder to find.
So make a new family. Meet some new friends. Come to dinner.
Several groups around the diocese are sponsoring free Christmas
dinners. Anyone is invited to attend. (Volunteers and donations
are also welcome, so everyone has a chance to join in the
sharing.)
Below are listings for some of the area dinners:
MANITOWOC: A Community Christmas Dinner will be held at noon on
Christmas Day at Faith Evangelical Lutheran, 2201 S. 42nd St.
Free transportation for Manitowoc residents. Reservations needed
by Dec. 22. Call (920)755-4387.
OSHKOSH: Father Carr's Place 2B, 102 Merritt Ave., will host its
annual Christmas Day Dinner. Meals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and
again from 4-6 p.m. Rides and home-delivered meals are also
available. Call (920)231-2378 for reservations. Christmas Eve
Mass will be at 4 p.m. Also needed are donations of hams, salads
and breads, and volunteers needed. Call Fr. Carr at
(920)231-2378.
WAUTOMA: St. Joseph Parish, 364 S. Cambridge St., will serve
