Ready for the biggest Christian holiday? Easter is a time for joy
and new life. But that joy is a little harder to feel if you're
all alone for Easter Sunday. So the following groups are inviting
people to attend free Easter dinners. Anyone is welcome.
(Volunteers and donations are also welcome, so everyone has a
chance to join in the joy of sharing.)
APPLETON:
The Moose Lodge 367, 1216 E. Wisconsin Ave., will be the site of
the We Care Meals Program dinner. The meal will be served from 11
a.m. to 2 p.m. All are welcome.
Call (920)882-9525, for reservations. Limited meal delivery is
available to shut-ins, based on numbers of volunteers.
Volunteers needed for serving, but volunteers to deliver meals
and visit shut-ins are especially needed. Call 882-9525.
OSHKOSH:
Father Carr's Place 2B, 102 Merritt Ave., will host its annual
Easter Day Meals. Meals from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and again from 4-6
p.m. Rides and home-delivered meals at noon are also available.
Call (920)231-2378 for reservations or to request a home meal for
yourself or someone you know who is homebound. Also needed are
volunteers and donations of Easter baskets, food, salads,
desserts and candy.
Call Fr. Carr for more information or to offer help.
