Compass improves its Internet site

The Compass has made some additions to its portion of the diocesan web site (www.gbdioc.org) to better serve readers.

The changes, found at the bottom of the center portion of The Compass page in the yellow band marked "Contact Info. & Links," provide links that give readers access to more Catholic news and to Catholic movie and family video reviews.

The site has added three links to Catholic News Service. One link contains headlines from all the stories CNS filed that day to its client publications. A second link contains daily news briefs -- a summary of the top stories for that day. The third link contains one complete story selected by CNS as its Story of the Day.

The link to the movie and family video reviews from the Film and Broadcasting Office of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is below the CNS links as "Movie and Video Reviews." For persons without Internet access, the reviews are also available toll-free by phoning 1-800-311-4222.
