Are you a person who is:
Looking for an opportunity to provide service to others?
Wondering if the religious life might be what you're looking for?
Even if you haven't reached that point, you have that nagging feeling there's something about vocations that you should know?
If you answered "Yes" to any of the above, then you should think about participating in a retreat called "Life Directions." It is sponsored by the Vocation Directors of the Green Bay Diocese and area Serra Clubs.
Life Directions is a weekend experience for single adults from ages 18 to 40 to explore what it's like to serve God as a priest, brother or sister. The weekend includea group discussion, prayer time, and personal conversations with the different directors and Liturgy.
Life Directions does several things:
Provides a means of discerning if a vocation exists and how to respond to it.
Explores the rewards and the obligations that go along with religious life.
Equips participants to make an intelligent decision about whether a religious vocation should be considered as they plan their future.
At no point during this weekend will you be asked to make a decision. It's strictly a time to ask questions and learn. There will only be follow up if you ask for it. No vocation director will write or call unless you ask them to do so.
This year Life Directions will take place March 31 to April 2 at Mount Tabor Retreat Center, Menasha. The cost is $25. You'll have a private room and food prepared by the Serrans.
