Thoughts on Roe decision
What do those born since think?
By Patricia Kasten

On Jan. 22, 1973, the U.S. Supreme Court issued its Roe vs.
Wade and Doe vs. Bolton rulings, in effect, legalizing
abortion on demand in this country.
Nearly 30 years have passed since then. An entire generation has
been born and raised in a nation where they could just as easily
been aborted. What does that realization mean to them?
The Compass would like to ask anyone born after Jan. 22,
1973 to share their thoughts about the right to life. Replies will
be printed in the Jan. 17, 2003 issue.
