Ninth in a series on Bishop's Appeal

Editor's note: The annual Bishop's Appeal supports numerous services to help parishes, individuals and families, including the diocesan retreat house on Chambers Island and the Commissioned Ministry Program.

Many people approach Christian life much as they do swimming in a lake. First, they get their feet wet, then gradually go deeper and deeper until finally they're fully immersed.

That's pretty much what happened with Dcn. Bob and Monica Penzenstadler, directors of the Green Bay Diocese's Holy Name Retreat House. And it seems an especially appropriate way to describe them, since the retreat house is on Chambers Island in the middle of the Bay of Green Bay off Door County.
