Administrative Support, Pastoral Services

This full-time position assists Consultants and Directors of the Pastoral Services department as part of an administrative team by performing a wide variety of administrative assistant tasks including word processing, workshop registrations and gathering of supplies/handouts, desk top publishing, database queries, and correspondence. Responsibilities include creating, updating and editing documents of consultants and directors, coordinating workshops as needed, coordinating and prioritizing projects of the consultants/directors, and collecting/depositing income for workshops or resources sold. Will prepare outgoing mailings, generate database queries, graphs, and reports as assigned, and create flyers, brochures, signs, forms, and correspondence using various computer programs. May also perform receptionist duties. This position requires a high school education or an equivalent with 2-3 years of experience in an administrative assistant capacity. Strong proficiency using variety of computer software programs including MS Word, Excel, Access (or other relational database) and Adobe Pagemaker, plus a comprehensive knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation is required.
