Pastoral Associate

Sales Counselor, Allouez Catholic Cemetery

This full-time position is responsible for marketing the products and services of Allouez Catholic Cemetery and Mausoleum. This is a commissioned sales position and involves developing and following up on leads, either self-generated or received from the sales manager or other cemetery personnel. The sales counselor shall be responsible for the sales and services either in a customer's home or in the cemetery/mausoleum. The sales counselor must be available on their duty day to handle walk-in and immediate need clients. The sales counselor must be able to educate the public on the benefits of pre-arrangement. The sales counselor completes all documentation associated with a sale of products and/or services and must complete necessary hour and activity reports. Candidates for this position should have a minimum of a high school diploma or its equivalent and a minimum of five years of sales experience. A minimum of two years experience in the sales and operations of a cemetery/mausoleum is desirable. An understanding of the grieving process and a valid driver's license is also necessary. Director of Stewardship and Development

Diocese of Madison Stewardship & Development Office
Job Summary: The Director of Stewardship and Development Office is responsible for the Diocesan Services Appeal and for Stewardship programs for the Diocese of Madison. The Director will serve as the President for the Diocese of Madison's proposed Catholic Foundation. The Catholic Foundation will be responsible for fund development for the diocese.
Minimum Qualifications: A committed Christian solidly and faithfully grounded in the Catholic traditions, who is an active member of a Catholic parish; Minimum of 5 years experience in a leadership role as a stewardship and development professional with demonstrated success in fundraising; Baccalaureate Degree; Excellent written and verbal communication skills; Demonstrated ability to articulate the philosophy and objectives of the Catholic Church, including the theology of stewardship; Demonstrated ability to produce creative development and stewardship strategies; Demonstrated supervisory and managerial skills; Demonstrated success with major gift solicitation; Demonstrated success with planned giving programs.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced degree; Certified Fund Raising Executive credential, or equivalent.
The position will remain open until a qualified candidate has been hired.
