Here is a list of videos available through the Diocesan Department of Education AV Center on lives transformed by prayer. The center is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. All videos are VHS videotapes, except DVD as noted.

3653: Touch Life Gently (1990, 360 min., Level: A)

Fr. Dick Rice, SJ, and Dr. George Mann, present 12-part series of reflections on forgiveness, self-acceptance and reawakening the spirit based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. Twelve sessions on three 120-minute tapes.

Tom Zanzig in a program at The Gathering of the Green Bay Diocese provides a definition and basic model of the spiritual life and principles for nurturing spiritual growth and development.


4859: Spiritual Growth (2004, 60 min., Level: A)

Bp. Robert Morneau discusses how to measure our spiritual growth and deepen our life in Jesus.


4868: Blest Are We Faith Formation for Adults - Images of Jesus from John (2003, 60 min., Level: A)

Presentation on the three gospels from the Scrutinies: The Woman at the Well, the Man Born Blind, and Raising Lazarus from the Dead, and homilies on them. Can be used for individual viewing, adult faith formation groups and the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA).

Three-tape series based on the Gospel of John with Jean Vanier, a world renowned spiritual leader and the founder of 100 L'Arche communities around the world. Vanier draws on his lifetime of ministering to difficult human needs to offer insightful reflections on John's Gospel.


98126: Believing, Witnessing, Reconciling: Following the Way of Jesus (1995, 55 min., Level: A)

Bp. Robert Morneau mixes humor, poetry, and dynamic spirituality into his presentation at the Diocesan Evangelization Conference.


4331: The Call - Tracing Covenant Through Scripture Cronin Gaynell (1999, 18 min., Level: IJ)

Gaynell Cronin talks about how Abraham, Moses, John the Baptist and Mary were challenged to respond to the Call of God. By identifying with these figures, young people find role models for their own faith responses to God's Call. Presents a historical perspective of the Old and New Testaments.


4249: On the Air - When in Doubt (1997, 24 min., Level: JS)

Young people can be cruising down the highway of life running on the fuel of their parents' faith or religion. One day, they hit a few bumps in the road or the fuel tank registers "empty" and they start looking around for help. First, they start by asking a few questions. Then they begin having some second thoughts. Eventually they may feel guilty for having doubts. This will show how doubt is the first step to a stronger, more personal faith.

Based on a short story by Max Lucado about Claudius, a Roman guard, who finds himself in the middle of a cover up regarding the tumultuous events after Christ's execution. He discovers that the religious leaders, Roman government and his closest allies are trying to hide something. The story of one man's quest for truth and the discovery that leads to his own personal resurrection. 1998

Drama about on Saul (Garry Cooper) went from the angry persecutor of Christians to Paul, the emissary of Christ who will pay any price to bring his message to the world.
