Lenten series come to radio and Internet

Two different Catholic Lenten series, both featuring bishops from the Green Bay Diocese, will be offered on the radio and online this year. An additional series will be offered in Spanish.
The first, featuring Bp. David Zubik and seven other U.S. bishops, is titled "Bishops Reflect on the Amazing Holy Eucharist." It will be on Relevant Radio from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturdays, and 5 to 6 p.m. Sundays, Feb. 24 to April 1. It will air on 1050 AM, Green Bay; 91.1 FM, Appleton; 92.9 FM, Wausau; or 92.6 FM, Marinette; or online at, www.relevantradio.com.
The second series, which will feature Auxiliary Bp. Robert Morneau and five other bishops, are being made available to Catholic dioceses and radio stations, and were produced for the
Catholic Communication Campaign by Franciscan Radio, a ministry of the Franciscans and St. Anthony Messenger Press. The six-week series and a separate series in Spanish will begin Sunday, Feb. 25, and will be available online at www.radioretreat.org, including MP3 downloads.

March 10/11 - "The Holy Eucharist and the Priesthood," Abp. Raymond Burke of St. Louis, and "The Primary Purposes of the Holy Mass," Card. Justin Rigali of Philadelphia.
March 17/18 - "The Holy Mass and the Last Supper Are One (part 2)," Bp. Zubik, and "The Offertory of the Holy Mass" and "The Holy Mass and Calvary Are One," Bp. Morlino.
March 24/25 - "The Real Presence, He Is Truly Here," Abp. Burke, and "Holy Communion: An Encounter with Christ," Card. Rigali.
March 31/April 1 - "The Eucharist: The Source and Summit of the Christian Life" and "Eucharistic Adoration and Visits to the Blessed Sacrament," Card. Francis George of Chicago and "Mary, 'Woman of the Eucharist,'" Abp. John Myers of Newark.
The CCC series features Elia Castillo as program host, a bishop as retreat guide and homilist, music and a question-and-answer segment with the bishop.
Featured bishops for the English series are, in order of appearance: Bp. John Botean of the Romanian Eparchy of St. George in Canton, Ohio; Bp. Morneau; Bp. Gerald Kicanas of Tucson, Ariz.; Auxiliary Bp. Joseph Perry of Chicago; Abp. George Niederauer of San Francisco; and Auxiliary Bp. Joseph Estabrook of the Archdiocese for the Military Services.
The Spanish radio retreats will feature in order of appearance: Auxiliary Bp. Gustavo Garcia-Siller of Chicago; Bp. Michael Pfeifer of San Angelo, Texas; Bp. Placido Rodriguez of Lubbock, Texas; Abp.
