Congratulations, Bishop
Bp. Zubik celebrating an anniversary
By Tony Staley
Compass Editor
On April 6, Bp. David Zubik will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his ordination as a bishop.
A special 24-page section in this week's Compass, funded by the generous advertising support of numerous people and organizations, looks back at this milestone. It includes photos from that Ordination Mass in 1997, news stories about the event and his appointment, and tributes from bishops and local Catholics his life has touched. There also is a story by Jeff Kurowski, assistant editor, from an interview last week with Bp. Zubik.
It's been nearly 40 months since Bp. Zubik became the Bishop of Green Bay. In that time he's brought numerous changes in the diocesan structure and in how Green Bay parishes and schools work together through Faith Alive.
Congratulations, Bp. Zubik! May you continue to serve the church well as you challenge and remind us that "Nothing is Impossible with God."
