Catholics in northeastern Wisconsin are invited to two special events at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help in Robinsonville to celebrate the important role of Mary.
A May Crowning on Sunday, May 6, starting with a Holy Hour of Prayer at 2 p.m. and the May Crowning Procession at 2:45 p.m.
The annual May Celebration on Sunday, May 27, starting at 10 a.m. with an outdoor Mass, followed by a rosary procession around the grounds. Msgr. Matthew Malnar will preside. Those attending are asked to bring a lawn chair. In case of rain, the Mass will be inside the Chapel.
The shrine is 17 miles northeast of Green Bay. Take Highway 57 north to County Trunk K, then turn east and travel six miles.
The Catholic Church holds Mary in high esteem because of her complete faith in God and because she is the Virgin Mother of God. It is customary for Catholics to dedicate special prayers and liturgies to Mary during May, including reciting the rosary, keeping fresh flowers before a painting of Mary in one's home, or attending special prayer services such as the ones at Robinsonville.
