GREEN BAY -- The annual diocesan Pro-Life Mass, commemorating the 35th anniversary of the Roe v. Wade U.S. Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion, will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 18, at Ss. Peter and Paul Parish in Green Bay.
Fr. John Doerfler, diocesan chancellor, will be the celebrant. Deacon for the Mass will be Deacon Michael Vincent. The Knights of Columbus will provide escort. Relevant Radio will broadcast the Mass live on 1050 AM.
A rosary will precede the Mass at 6:30 p.m., and a reception will follow. The Mass will be interpreted for the deaf community.
Deb Wagner-Hohensee, pastoral planning director for the diocese, said that the annual diocesan Mass originated at Ss. Peter and Paul many years ago. She credited the current pastor, Msgr.
