PRIEST TAKES POLAR PLUNGE: Fr. Joel Sember, associate pastor of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Oshkosh, joins members of the UW-Oshkosh Newman Center for a plunge in Lake Winnebago Feb. 23. Each year, the Newman Center participates in the Polar Plunge, which is a fund-raiser for Special Olympics of Wisconsin. "I am willing to freeze in Lake Winnebago in order to be able to say I helped those children go to the Special Olympics," Fr. Sember explained in the parish bulletin about his participation in the winter event. (Dick Meyer photo)
