Eden students wow crowds at St. Bernard Church

Students from Shepherd of the Hills School in Eden, located south of Fond du Lac in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, presented two dramatizations of the Stations of the Cross at St. Bernard Church in Green Bay April 8.

The school has been presenting “The Living Way of the Cross” since 1994, according to Mary Jo Moody, teacher at Shepherd of the Hills and director of the program. Every student in grades three through eight participate in the program, which now is presented at various venues around the region. This includes schools, parishes, nursing homes and convents.

The drama features students in costumes, with some cast members singing solos. Green Bay Catholic schools were invited to watch the program, which was presented as a solemn, spiritual experience.

I’m hoping to create an audio slideshow of the presentation later. For now I have edited the 600-plus photos taken down to about 84. They are presented here as a slideshow without audio. Enjoy.
