Events to mark Roe v. Wade anniversary

Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 710 N. Baird St. in Green Bay, will host the 7 p.m. pro-life Mass on Friday, Jan. 22.

Other events include:

• A pro-life rally will be held on Sunday, Jan. 17, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the St. Joseph Middle School Auditorium, 2626 N. Oneida St., Appleton. Guest speaker will be Melissa Ohden. (Her story appears in this issue.) Pro-life booths will also be available.

•Pro-Life Wisconsin, Outagamie/Winnebago County, will have a prayer hour at the Planned Parenthood site at 3800 N. Gillette St., 10 to 11 a.m., on Friday, Jan. 22.

•The annual March for Life will take place on Friday, Jan. 22, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Baird Place (Webster and Mason streets) in Green Bay. Parking is available east and south of the park. Bring a candle or flashlight.

•Wisconsin Right to Life, Door County, will sponsor a candlelight vigil walk in Sturgeon Bay to commemorate Roe v. Wade on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 6:30 p.m. Gather at the Government Center parking lot, 421 Nebraska St.
