Catholic Charities: An important ministry

By | August 4, 2010

Through its many programs and services, Catholic Charities helps to restore faith and provides hope for the future while recognizing the dignity and value of every person who entrusts their life to their care. You will see in this year’s annual report how love for our neighbors is expressed in word and deed by the Catholic Charities staff and volunteers. You will see how your gifts to the Bishop’s Appeal, your own expressions of love for the work of the church, bless the lives of those touched by the compassionate care and services offered by Catholic Charities.

As you review this year’s annual report see for yourselves the impact of what works of love mean to those who entrust their lives daily to our care. God’s love is truly working to help those whose lives have been changed radically by economic hard times and personal crisis.

I am grateful for the many expressions of concern and care on behalf of God’s people. May God bless you for supporting Catholic Charities and for your ongoing commitment to this important ministry here in the Diocese of Green Bay.
