Biking for Babies success

By | July 5, 2011

Congratulations to Kevin Biese of Holy Cross Parish, Kaukauna, and his teammates on the success of their recent Biking for Babies bike ride from Covington, La., to Champaign, Ill. I interviewed Biese, a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin, for the cover story of the June 17 issue of The Compass. He and four other cyclists pedaled more than 850 miles to raise money for three pro-life projects. They set a goal of raising $15,000. According to the Biking for Babies website, they have raised more than $20,700. Their journey is chronicled on the  website through both videos and blog entries. Check it out and donations are still being accepted in support of the cyclists and the cause..
