Deacon Tim Reilly, general director of the diocesan Curia, said that he will always cherish the seven years he worked with Vincent.

“To every day, to every meeting and to every issue, she brought her deep-seated faith in Jesus and her total commitment to the church,” said Deacon Reilly. “I never once heard Doris make a recommendation on a topic that would be in her own self-interest. Instead, she was always thinking about the best way that we can serve the people of God and his church. I will greatly miss her counsel, wisdom and witness.”

Her parents, Hilbert and Amerlia (Ronk) Heezen preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Deacon Michael Vincent; daughter, Katie Stanczak; son-in-law, Eric; and grandson, Landen.

A solemn/silent visitation will be held at Malcore Funeral Home, University Avenue at Baird Street, from noon to 2:15 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27. The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:30 p.m. at Ss. Peter and Paul Church, 710 North Baird St., Green Bay. Following the Mass, the commital service will be held at the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Help Champion, with burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Champion.

A fund for the Ss. Peter and Paul Parish Faith Formation Tuition Assistance Program is being established.
