Groups offer free Easter meals

The We Care Meals Program will host its “Easter Celebration with Dinner” at the Appleton Moose Lodge #367, 1216 E. Wisconsin Ave. Serving is from noon to 2 p.m. Delivery is available, but for the homebound only. For delivery or to volunteer, call Ed Rathsack by Friday, April 6, at (920) 731-7867 and leave a message. Volunteers are needed to deliver meals, do kitchen work and serve meals. Donations are welcome.

 Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 930 E. Florida Ave., will offer a free Easter breakfast from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. Freewill donations will be accepted.


Bay City Baptist Church, 1840 Bond St., will have dinner, at noon. A 10:30 a.m. Easter cantata precedes the meal. For information, call (920) 499-5561.


Twin City Baptist, 911 Elizabeth Ave., will have 9:15 a.m. breakfast, followed by a 10:30 a.m. Easter cantata.


Father Carr’s Place 2B, 1965 Oshkosh Ave. (Hwys. 21 and 41), will host its 38th annual Easter Day dinners at noon and 5 p.m. in the Mother Teresa Center. Home-delivered meals are available for the noon meal only. Call (920) 231-2378 to request a delivered meal. Also needed are donations of hams, gravy, potato flakes, desserts and volunteers to make deliveries.
