Taking to the airwaves

I recently had my second book published by Our Sunday Visitor Publishing. “Making Sense of Saints: Fascinating Facts About Relics, Patrons, Canonization and More” has been timely, given to canonizations of St. John XXIII and St. John Paul II on April 27. Since then, I have had the pleasure of being on several Catholic radio programs, including Morning Air with Sean Herriott on Relevant Radio in Green Bay (May 14) and Immaculate Heart Radio in Sacramento (May 15) for the Bishop’s Hour with Bob Dunning. Both have audio archives of those interviews on their websites at http://www.relevantradio.com/audios/morning-air-with-sean-herriott and http://ihradio.com/audio-archives/book

I also did a taped interview with Kris McGregor at Spirit Radio in Omaha this week and it will air on Saturday, May 24 at 11 a.m. (noon CDT). They have a live stream on their website at spiritcatholicradio.com .

On Sunday, May 25, I will take part in a live two-hour radio program at with the CBS radio affiliate in Pittsburgh, KDKA. .I will be on their “Amplify” program (hosted by Fr. Ron Lengwin), on Sunday evening, 9-11 p.m. EDT (8 – 10 p.m. CDT). They also have a live stream on their website at pittsburgh.cbslocal.com.

It’s been fun talking about saints and canonizations. I hope people also have fun reading the book. It’s available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble and Our Sunday Visitor at www.osv.com.
