She has “The Voice”

She won!. Ursuline Sr. Cristina Scuccia has won Italy’s “The Voice” singing competition. With 62 percent of the final vote on the popular TV show, this petite 25-year-old, whom I wrote about in April after her first appearance on the popular show, took first prize. As one of several of the songs she performed on June 5, was that opening salvo of “No One” by Alicia Keyes. And then what did she do? Lead the audience in “The Lord’s Prayer.” See the YouTube version here:  She told the audience: “she told the audience, “I want Jesus to enter here.” And here is the entire performance on YouTube. (Yes, both are in Italian, but music is universal.) Congratulations, Sr. Cristina. I hope you bring many people to ask Jesus to “enter here” by your voice.
