ALLOUEZ — To recognize those in business who promote the common good, The Compass invites readers and parish leadership to nominate candidates for the 10th annual “Faith That Works” Awards.

Nominees must be currently employed in the 16-county area of the Diocese of Green Bay, an active parish member and involved in spiritually based community programs or organizations. A panel of judges will select honorees from both profit and nonprofit organizations who make a positive difference in their parishes and local communities.

“When you are able to work, and work for the glory of God, that’s the best of all worlds,” said Bishop David Ricken. “Whether that’s in full-time ministry or bringing the good news to the work place, that’s an incredible mission and a great challenge.”

Nominations must be submitted by December 31, 2022. Award recipients will be notified in January 2023.

In addition to being featured in a special section in the The Compass, the award winners will also be invited to a Mass and luncheon reception with Bishop Ricken.

Nominees not selected will be kept on file for two additional years of consideration.
