Free Easter dinners

Easter is the day when we celebrate Christ's triumph over death and sin. On this, the greatest Christian feast day, we should be able to gather with others in the joy of our salvation. To that end, area groups are hosting free Easter dinners, so everyone has a place to go and share the Good News. Two of them are listed below.

The Appleton Moose Lodge #367, 1216 E. Wisconsin Ave., will offer a free Easter dinner from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Home deliveries and transportation will also be available. Deliveries begin at 10:30 a.m. Call (920)882-9525 for deliveries or transportation or to volunteer. Volunteers are also needed for serving, delivery and transportation.

Fr. Carr's Place 2B will serve Easter dinner from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Dec. 25 at St. Joseph Hall, 102 Merritt Ave. The homebound can have meals delivered by calling (920)231-2378. Salads, hams, desserts, Easter candy and Easter baskets are needed, as well as volunteer drivers are needed. Rides will be available. Call Fr. Carr, at the above number, to volunteer or make donations.
