What's happening for youth


Sunday, Sept. 24 - Come and Pray with the Brothers of Taize at All Saints Episcopal Church, Appleton. Evening will begin at 7 p.m. with a reception and conver-sation with the Taize Brothers, followed with prayer at 9:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Area Ecumenical Network.

Saturday, Sept. 30 - Walk With Jesus Downtown, starts at 1 p.m. at St. Mary of the Angels Church, 645 Irwin St., Green Bay, with stops at St. Willebrord and St. Francis Xavier Cathedral, where the day will end with Mass at 4 p.m. Sponsored by the Green Bay Diocese Vocations Office and area religious orders.

Saturday, Oct. 14 - Youth Jam 2000. Schuldes Sports Center, St. Norbert College, DePere. $12 for individuals, group rates available. Includes entertainment, pizza, soda and a dance with Just Be. Featured are Nashville band Ceili Rain, and Doug Brummel, storyteller and comedian.

Youth Fellowship - 7-9 p.m. Thursdays at Mt. Tabor Center, Menasha. Also at 7:30 p.m., Thursdays, at Holy Martyrs of Gorcum Parish in Green Bay.

Teen Scene Open Gym - 6:30-10:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays at Fr. Carr's Place 2B, 1965 Oshkosh Ave., Oshkosh. High school youth program daily at 8 p.m.
