Green Bay parish sets forum on Iraq

U.S. Rep. Mark Green will be part of a four-member peace forum panel on Iraq and war from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, at St. Elizabeth Seton Church, 2771 Oakwood Dr., Green Bay.

Joining Green, who voted for the House resolution authorizing Pres. Bush to take military action against Iraq will be:

• Paul Wadell, associate professor of religious studies at St. Norbert College, De Pere, and an authority on application of the Catholic Church's "Just War" doctrine;

• Sr. Marie Drzewiecki, OSF, of Bay Settlement, a peace activist and former missionary in Nicaragua;

• Dcn. Jim Gauthier of St. Elizabeth Seton Parish, a former Marine and Vietnam War veteran. He has two draft-age children.

The forum is open to the public.
