Bp. David Zubik on Oct. 15 announced five new top leaders for the team that will assist him in administering the Green Bay Diocese and a new assignment for Auxiliary Bp. Robert Morneau. The changes will take effect on Jan. 1.

The appointments are:

• Dcn. Tim Reilly, president of Notre Dame de la Baie Academy, Green Bay, to be Diocesan Director of Administration;

• Doris Vincent, pastoral associate at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral and St. John the Evangelist parishes, Green Bay, to be Associate Director of Administration;

• Fr. Paul Demuth, pastor of Resurrection Parish, Green Bay, to be Vicar for Ministers;

• Sr. Mary Bride Grubbs, ANG, who has been serving as both diocesan chancellor and assistance coordinator, will be relieved of her chancellor responsibilities to give her full attention to being assistance coordinator;

• Fr. John Doerfler, assistant chancellor and a member of the Marriage Tribunal, to be chancellor;

• Msgr. Brian Coleman, to be Vice Chancellor while remaining as pastor of St. Patrick Parish, Green Bay;

• Bp. Morneau will be the new pastor of Resurrection Parish, leaving his post as Vicar for Priests (now renamed Vicar for Ministers). He will continue his special sacramental responsibilities as Auxiliary Bishop as well as Vicar General and will remain on all the diocesan boards on which he is serving.   Full story ...
