Director - Christian Faith Formation

DRE and Youth Minister

Ministry Opportunities

In a spirit of gratitude and joy, the Catholic parish of St. Francis of Assisi in Manitowoc, WI is seeking five full-time leadership positions to serve our community. The ideal candidates for this newly formed 5,200 household community are faith-filled, experienced and have a passion to serve. In partnership with the pastoral team and the faithful, the selected candidates will work creatively toward strengthening our Manitowoc and Parish Community.

Director of Worship - The Director of Worship will work creatively toward unifying the liturgical celebrations in worship in the city of Manitowoc. Our ideal candidate is open to the spirit and life of the parish and pastoral team and educated in Catholic liturgy and theology. A minimum of 5 years experience is required.

Director of Music - The Director of Music is responsible for overseeing the musical expression of the assembly in three worship sites in the city of Manitowoc. Our ideal candidate is open to the spirit and life of the parish and pastoral team. A Bachelor's Degree in Music or the equivalent is desirable.

Director of Faith Formation - The Director needs to serve not only the parish and all of its members, but God's vision of what the entire community can become. The areas of responsibility will encompass all sacramental programs, catechetical programs (various models), Adult Education, Retreats and Special Education. Our ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree with previous experience in leading faith formation programs. This candidate must also be a spiritual leader and practicing Catholic with the ability to focus on the immediate and future needs of the community and Parish.

Parish Business Manager - The Business Manager will oversee the physical, financial and personnel resources of the parish, solving operational problems and striving for the continuous improvement in ongoing projects and new developments. Our ideal candidate will have at least a B.A./B.S. in Business, Accounting, or equivalent work experience. The candidate must also have a minimum of three years experience in a Managerial Position.

Director of LifeTeen and Young Adult Ministry - The Director will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of the LifeTeen program, as well as other aspects of young adult ministry. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the church, culture and young adults.

Faith Formation Director/Youth Minister

Grades 7-12, approximately 400 teens. To work in an established program in a parish of 1,400 families seven miles south of Madison. Prefer candidate with a background in religious studies with at least 5 years experience working with youth in the classroom and social settings. This is a 12-month position beginning August 1, 2005. Faith Formation High School Coordinator

St. Pius X Parish seeks Faith Formation Coordinator for grades 9-11. High School students meet Wednesday night every other month. This 15 hour/week, 10 month position begins August 1, 2005. Qualifications: Vatican II Theology, BA-Education or Theology, Teaching experience preferred, creativity in methods, good organizational and relational skills with youth and adults.
