photo of the Nativity set of John and Amy Dessart of Oconto Falls left arrow NATIVITY PICK OF THE WEEK: John and Amy Dessart of Oconto Falls bought this Nativity set at St. Catherine's Bookstore in Green Bay for their first Christmas, 33 years ago. Because they couldn't afford all the pieces, they bought only the Holy Family. Amy's mother surprised them when she gave them the shepherds and kings for Christmas. John built the stable from old barn boards and put in a window because his family's Nativity set had a window. The pieces were sculpted by Donna Weaver. The Dessarts are members of St. Anthony Parish.
