GREEN BAY -- Loud and proud describes the near capacity assembly at the ordination Mass for Fr. Dan Schuster on Saturday, May 31, at St. Francis Xavier Cathedral.
During the election of the candidate, as part of the rite of ordination, Fr. Tom Long, diocesan vocations director, testified to the readiness of then Deacon Schuster. Bishop Robert Morneau then accepted the candidate. The assembly was to show its consent with applause, but supporters of Fr. Schuster took it a step further by responding with resounding cheers.
"It's cool to see all the people come together from the different places I've walked, worked and served," said Fr. Schuster. "This is my ordination, but it's not all about me. It's about God working through people." Full story ...
