CELEBRATING FEAST OF OUR LADY OF GUADALUPE: The feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, patroness of the Americas, was observed by Catholics throughout the Green Bay Diocese on Dec. 12. Special observances this year took place in Appleton, Green Bay, Newton, Omro, Sturgeon Bay and Wautoma. Observances included Masses, re-enactments of Mary's appearance to St. Juan Diego on Tepeyac Hill in Mexico in 1531, and musical performances in Spanish.
